Hannah Calvin is a character in the Melisende Dulac Series.
Biography
One of two daughters of Mary Jane Calvin, she lived most of her adult life away from Barlow County, returning only after her son Felice graduated from college in 2003. She was never close to her twin sister, India, even though they lived just two blocks from each other during Hannah's last years.
Hannah was present for the fateful Thanksgiving dinner at Virginia's house when Clark Freshwater returned to Samuelton, but left before he arrived after a too-familiar family argument broke out. However, she returned later to make amends, only to find the house empty. As she was leaving, she saw the others return, but they didn't seem to notice her. She returned to her own apartment without speaking to anyone.
During a conversation with Melisende about the events of that Thanksgiving, she suffered a heart attack and died the next day. However, some of the details she shared with Melisende led to the discovery of Clark's killer.
