Mary Jane Calvin is a historical figure in the Melisende Dulac Series.

Biography

Only twelve and the victim of rape, Mary Jane Calvin died while giving birth twins at the Hensley Asylum for Infirm Ladies and Needful Girls. Her mother was Fervent Calvin. Her daughters India and Hannah survived, and were raised in the same Samuelton orphanage as Mary Jane.
