Located on the bank of the Palmer River just outside Samuelton, this house was the primary dwelling of Melisende and Elodie starting with the events of Waldo's Gold.
One of the things Melisende likes about the place is her view of the Bluebunch Glen Memory Garden from her bedroom window.

After the death of Rémy Bouton, Elodie no longer wanted to live in the family quarters of the Old Mortuary. She leased the Old Mortuary to the Barlow County Historical Society for use as a museum.
