Palmer River is a location in Barlow County in the Melisende Dulac Series.

Located in central Barlow County, the river flows primarily east off the slopes of Lost Brother Butte between two eastward trending ridges. It is a favorite trout fishing and white water rafting stream. The towns of Samuelton and Wilton are on its banks at the eastern end of its flow through the county.

Fed by snowmelt and springs, its tributaries include Goose Creek and Cerise Creek.
