Hayward Turnbull is the Sheriff of Barlow County, Oregon in the Melisende Dulac Series.
Biography
A native of Barlow County, Turnbull attended the University of Oregon and then received a Master's in Criminal Justice from Stanford University. He served in the FBI for fifteen years before returning to Barlow County to accept a mid-term appointment as Sheriff of the Barlow County Sheriffs Department.
