Grace Hensley
Grace Finola Hensley is a historical figure in the Melisende Dulac Series.
Biography
Grace Hensley was the daughter of Alice Hensley and Dalton Hensley.
She died at age 16, just nine days before the passing of her mother Alice. Officially the cause of death was complications after a miscarriage, but rumor had it she hemorrhaged during an attempted abortion.

Another, less commonly repeated rumor suggests she died in childbirth, but the baby was secreted away. It was known she had been "carrying on" with one of the lumbermen in Dalton Hensley's employ. If she did give birth, the rumor suggests, Dalton would be unlikely to accept the child.
