Minnie Waldo is a historical figure in the Melisende Dulac Series.

Biography

The grandmother of Clarence Stover Jr., and mother of Clarence Henry Stover as the result of a rape committed by Dalton Hensley. She was murdered in 1907 along with her son Louis and her husband, Willard Waldo. Her daughter by Willard, Henrietta Marie Waldo, would survive and eventually marry Selwyn Freshwater. Towhee Freshwater is her great-great-granddaughter.
