Otto Zedler is a historical figure in the Melisende Dulac Series.
Biography
Otto Zedler was an outlaw who stole the Hensley Topaz from the grave of Minnie Waldo in June 1917 shortly before he died from a fall at Kimble's Hole Mine.
He worked for Bouton Funerary Service as a sexton in 1907. In 1908, he was convicted of burglarizing the Dalton Hensley house and spent nine years in prison. He also held a mining claim on Shatter Hill, though it never produced any commercially-viable ore.
