Minnie Waldo is a historical figure in the Melisende Dulac Series.
Biography
The grandmother of Clarence Hensley Jr., and mother of Clarence Stover Hensley as the result of an affair with Dalton Hensley. She was murdered in 1907 along with her son Louis by her husband, Willard Waldo. Her daughter by Willard, Minta Marie Waldo, would survive and eventually marry Selwyn Freshwater. Towhee Freshwater is her great-great-granddaughter.
