Virginia Newland neé Kinniburgh is a character in the Melisende Dulac Series.
Biography
Virginia is the wife of Dearth Newland and foster mother of Towhee Freshwater. She is the sister of Kendra Kinniburgh.

Prior to the Freshwater Murders, she was having an affair with Clark Freshwater. She subsequently killed Clark in November 2009 after he returned to Barlow County, intent on clearing his name. In addition to being Towhee's foster mother, she is the legal guardian of Emile Freshwater.
