Biography
Dale was the father of Ruby Jane and Jimmie Whittaker, husband of Bella Denlinger. He disappeared and was presumed dead in 1989, though in fact he had left the family at the urging of Ruby Jane. He died in Ruby Jane's Portland, Oregon apartment in 2008.
