Griselda Hargrave is a character in the Eden Pond Series.
Biography
Mrs. Hargrave is the Owner of the boarding house where Eden lives while working at the shipyard. She hates having "strangers" in the house despite needing the rental income to survive. Her manner is withdrawn and irritable.
Her son Wendell is a Navy Seabee deployed to the Solomon Islands. At the start of Murder at the Shipyard, Mrs. Hargrave hasn’t heard from him in over a month which likely contributes to her frame of mind.
