Elodie Bouton (née Pickering) is a character in the Melisende Dulac Series.
Biography
Co-owner with her husband Rémy Bouton of Bouton Funerary Service in Samuelton, Oregon. Her cousin is Barlow County Commissioner Yeoman Pickering, whose grandfather and grandmother adopted her when she was a newborn.
Her mother, Chastity Pickering, died just before her 14th birthday from complications of childbirth. Elodie's father is unknown. Elodie's grandmother, Felicity Merritt, was born at the Hensley Asylum in 1922.
