Shelby Pride

Shelby Pride is a character in the Melisende Dulac Series.

Biography

A teen girl from Portland, Oregon and the daughter of Kendrick Pride. Her ex-boyfriend Nathan Harper and his friend Trae Fowler were victims of the crash Melisende Dulac came upon at the crossroad.

The pregnant Shelby was lured to Barlow County by Lydia Koenig with the promises of medical care and cash in exchange for giving up her child for adoption. In fact, she was held prisoner along with three other pregnant teens at the Hensley Asylum, where it quickly became clear the promises were empty. Her escape with a newborn put the events of Crossroad in motion.
