Kendrick Pride

Kendrick Pride is a character in the Melisende Dulac Series.

Biography

A lawyer from Portland, Oregon who comes to Barlow County to investigate the crash in Crossroad.

He is fortyish and fit—long and lean, with hair the color of ripe barley. He's first seen in a tie and linen suit which stand out in the high desert. Even when he dresses casually, he looks more like a catalog model than someone trying to relax. His eyes are eyes brown flecked with moss.

While ostensibly investigating the deaths of Trae Fowler and Nathan Harper on behalf of their families, his real goal in Crossroad is to find his daughter Shelby. In the course of his investigation, he is murdered by Omar Duniway.
