Nanette Howard

Nanette Howard is a character in the Eden Pond Series.

Biography

Nanette Howard worked at Sunrise Bakery, where she was friendly with Harry Pond and later with Eden Pond. She was one of the indigenous Tillamook people. She grew up in the derisively-named "Squawtown" community at Hobsonville on the northeastern side of Tillamook Bay.

Description
In her late 40s during the events of Tillamook Guerillas, Nanette had black hair threaded with silver, usually worn in a tight, braided bun. Her eyes were dark brown, nearly black, and large and full of life. She had a tawny complexion, with deep lines at the corners of her eyes and mouth.
