Hanford Intrigue (terrible working title) is the third conceived book in the Eden Pond Series.
Overview
Grieving and desperate for a change of scenery, Eden Pond accepts a job at a new defense facility in the rolling plains of eastern Washington. She has no idea she’s joining the most secret endeavor in U.S. history, the Manhattan Project. More shocking still, less than a month after she joins the construction crew building one of the world’s first nuclear reactors, she's accused of being a spy.
Chronology
The events of the novel take place in Fall 1943. Hanford Intrigue follows Women's Air Service and precedes Fire Balloon.
