Hanford Intrigue (terrible working title) is the third conceived book in the Eden Pond Series.
Overview
Grieving the death of her dearest friend and desperate for a change of scenery, Eden Pond accepts a job at a new defense facility in the rolling plains of eastern Washington. She has no idea she’s joining the most secret endeavor in U.S. history, the Manhattan Project.
But she’s hardly began her work on the construction crew building one of the world’s world’s first nuclear reactors when a co-worker, and someone Eden thought was a friend, accuses her of being a spy.
Chronology
The events of the novel take place in Fall 1943. Hanford Intrigue follows Women's Air Service and precedes Fire Balloon.
