Stewart P. Arnold is a character in the Eden Pond Series.

Biography
A veteran of World War I, Steward P. Arnold was an historic figure and leader the Tillamook Guerrilla Rifle Club during the first year of the World War II. [2] Guided by his seeing-eye dog Mac he made his way around the Tillamook area to various organizing and training events for the Guerrillas.
He was tall and slender, and held himself to an erect bearing. He usually wore sunglasses with black plastic frames.[1]
Note: though he was a real life person, in the Eden Pond series he is presented in fictionalized form.
