Damian Melrose is a character in the Eden Pond Series.
Biography
Damian Melrose serves as a captain in the U.S. Army who has been tasked with surveying the Tillamook Bay and Cape Meares for possible placement of defensive installations. He is aloof and taciturn, though prone to outbursts when riled. He is openly hostile with some members of the Tillamook community, particular those involved in the so-called Guerilla Rifle Club,[1][2][3] a civilian militia formed by World War I veterans to defend against Japanese invasion.
