During a one-night stand with Bonita Cereza at Copper Baron Lake Joel Kirsch fathered Felix Cereza, though he disputed paternity. For many years, Joel was able to successfully defeat Bonnie's attempts to prove he was Felix's father.
He is the general manager of Kirsch Colony, a commercial dairy north of Lost Brother Butte.
