Dalton Hensley is a historical figure in the Melisende Dulac Series.
Biography
Founder of the Hensley Asylum for Infirm Ladies and Needful Girls. As the wealthiest citizen of the town of Mudbath, he led the effort to rename it to Crestview in 1910. Though it is not well-known, he had raped the wife of one of his employees, Minnie Waldo, and fathered Clarence Henry Stover.
His wife was Alice Hensley.
