Barlow County Historical Society is an institution in Barlow County in the Melisende Dulac Series.

Dedicated to study, education, and presentation of Barlow County history, the organization runs the Barlow Museum in Samuelton. Also housed at the museum is a research library which includes a large number of old documents and books of significance to county history, including newspaper archives for such publications as the Samuelton Ledger, Mudbath Muckraker, and Crestview Citizen.
Yeoman Pickering serves as chair of the board of directors, and Virginia Newland serves as a volunteer.
