High Country Ventures is a firm involved in both the creation of Dryer Lake Resort and development of Cougar Crossing at the site of the old Hensley Asylum.

The C.E.O. and principle shareholder is Neville Larkin, with Dearth Newland as one of several minority shareholders. Clark Freshwater was involved in the original establishment of the firm as vice president of development for Rolling Sage Bank.
