Clarence Henry Stover

Clarence Henry Stover is a historical figure in the Melisende Dulac Series.

Biography

Son of Minnie Waldo and Dalton Hensley as the result of rape, he was sent off to be raised by his mother's family and so was not present when she was killed along with her son Louis and her husband Willard Waldo. He knew he was the son of Dalton, but was never publicly acknowledged by his father. Healthy and vigorous for most of his long life, he did not marry until he was eighty-one years old and fathered his son Clarence Stover Jr. at age eighty-two.
