==Details==
Established in his will by [[Dalton Hensley]], the foundation was formed in 1929 to manage the [[Hensley Asylum for Infirm Ladies and Needful Girls]] and further dedicated to philanthropic efforts funded by the vast Hensley estate.

It has overseen the evolution of the Asylum into the present day [[Hensley School]] and [[Crestview Assisted Living]]. In addition it has supported the [[Barlow County Historical Society]]<ref>[[Waldo's Gold]]</ref> and engaged in a range of charitable activities throughout Oregon.
